Shelby Leigh's 101 in 1001

I am jumping on the band wagon, creating a list of 101 things to accomplish in 1001 days! It took me a couple hours to compile this list but I am happy with what I came up with. I had to scale down my naturally ambitious mind and keep some things simple, if I wrote down all the things I came up with and accomplished them, I might not have anything left to do for the rest of my life!

Bookmark this post to keep up with what I've completed (or not) and post a link to your list in a comment for me to save.

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Some common goal setting tips:
1. Be decisive. Know exactly what you want, why you want it, and how you plan to achieve it.

2. Stay Focused. Any goal requires sustained focus from beginning to end. Constantly evaluate your progress.

3. Welcome Failure. Frequently, very little is learned from a venture that did not experience failure in some form. Failure presents the opportunity to learn and makes the success more worthy.

4. Write down your goals. It clarifies your thinking and reinforces your commitment.

5. Keep your goals in sight. Review them frequently, and ensure that they are always at the forefront of your thinking.

What a great list. You can add me to the list for number 45 - on the advice of you through your mother i watched The Secret. Concerning #30 be sure to tell your mother - sorry about the new stuffed shards and stingray.

Do the easy ones first - you could do 41, 98 and 99 in a day.

I came across the actual north face outlet locations super-warm with out sensation close/claustrophobic. You simply won't pick up cold for the reason that jacket. But once all the jacket did was prevent you hot, you could as well have on a new quilt on the runs. Your north face outlet online cost Thinker jacket, being a Mac, has several clever add-ons which managed to make it my favorite jumper to snowboard in.
