Unspoken Scratch Therapy
I just finished getting my mom's website up for her business Unspoken. Unspoken is a "subtle, distinct, relaxation" of scratch therapy! I wont take my chances of butchering it, so just visit her website www.unspokentouch.com.

12/8/2007 Wedding
I'm finally getting around to editing a wedding I photographed a couple weeks ago. This day was extra special because I was shooting for some long time family friends! Here is a small peak at their wedding day!
They saw eachother before the ceremony!
Reception details
I love bands (and lighting)!
Okay I think I have to admit that the crazy woman pointing her fingers and the man in the 80's houndstooth jacket are indeed my parents!
You never know whats going to happen during a bouquet toss!

R.I.P. PC
On 12/20/07 we officially lost PC. She was a good computer, almost making it to her 3rd birthday but it was her time!
Good news is she is replaced...
As much as I would have loved to get the MacPro, I didn't! But I am extremely happy with my lovely new imac, the one thing I really love about it is there isn't a bunch of wires everywhere creating an eye sore/fire hazard! She's fast and sexy, but she isn't calibrated yet so I'm not even going to try to edit because I already see photos way off!
But of course I played with Photobooth!

It's beginning to feel alot like Christmas!
Oi, I have computer troubles. I have the Geek Squad coming out tomorrow to fix my PC, I personally think Santa should get me a Mac. :)
If you've waited till the last minute (like me) to do you holiday shopping...
Super Last Minute Gifts:
1. Sweets- mmmmmmm!
2. Gift Cards- I personally like cold hard cash cards.
3. The Secret- I watched it twice OnDemand, and I need to buy it.
Hopefully I will have wedding photos up tomorrow.

Christmas Time at Our House
It's Christmas time, and to be honest I've barely shopped. I'll be posting some of my favorite gift ideas later this week, but for now- here's the kids!
You can't build a ginger bread house without eating some icing.
Seriously, am I the only one who can't build a ginger bread house without it collapsing?
Our "adorable" Christmas tree
A fun bit of Laila. Her favorite things at the moment:
Riley- she thinks she's hilarious.
Her hands, she could stare/eat at them forever
By the way, I got all those last minute print orders the day AFTER the deadline. You all know who you are. :)

Our Holiday Portrait
I've been dreading this for a while. Not that I don't like to take photos of the family, I just don't like to when I'm in it. Taking a self-portrait requires skill. Taking a self-portrait with 2 small children requires a miracle. Somehow I got one. It wasn't as hateful as the traumatizing moments I recall in the past. I set up right next to the TV, so Riley was half occupied, I took 10 frames, hoping just one would be half decent or photoshop-able. And I got TWO! This one was my favorite.
Look for it in your mailbox soon. :)

This winter...
Things I'm [finally] looking forward to doing this winter...
1. Taking more photos of my girls
2. Going on vacation (in my dreams?)
3. Launching promsessions.com
4. Getting lots of my product samples
5. Updating the website and blog
6. Getting ready for an even better year!
I can breathe, it is NICE to finally have a semi break over the winter. Of course I will still be working but not nearly as much, which leave me time to work on other ends of the business and extra personal time!
I will also be releasing 2008 portrait pricing next month, its not too dramatic. Still the same session + print credit, but the print credit will be a lower amount and print prices with be slighty higher. Though, if you purchase a gift session you will still recieve the current $200 print credit offered with portrait sessions.
When you purchase a gift session this is what you'll recieve-
FRONT
BACK
an even better way for you to package it as a gift would be to put it in a 5x5 frame!
So what you really have to look forward to this winter is more personal posts! Here's a senior I photographed at the beach last week. GORGEOUS! As usual.

And Crystal taught me how to play Poker.
but Riley couldn't
