I've been dreading this for a while. Not that I don't like to take photos of the family, I just don't like to when I'm in it. Taking a self-portrait requires skill. Taking a self-portrait with 2 small children requires a miracle. Somehow I got one. It wasn't as hateful as the traumatizing moments I recall in the past. I set up right next to the TV, so Riley was half occupied, I took 10 frames, hoping just one would be half decent or photoshop-able. And I got TWO! This one was my favorite.
Look for it in your mailbox soon. :)

This winter...
Things I'm [finally] looking forward to doing this winter...
1. Taking more photos of my girls
2. Going on vacation (in my dreams?)
3. Launching promsessions.com
4. Getting lots of my product samples
5. Updating the website and blog
6. Getting ready for an even better year!
I can breathe, it is NICE to finally have a semi break over the winter. Of course I will still be working but not nearly as much, which leave me time to work on other ends of the business and extra personal time!
I will also be releasing 2008 portrait pricing next month, its not too dramatic. Still the same session + print credit, but the print credit will be a lower amount and print prices with be slighty higher. Though, if you purchase a gift session you will still recieve the current $200 print credit offered with portrait sessions.
When you purchase a gift session this is what you'll recieve-
FRONT
BACK
an even better way for you to package it as a gift would be to put it in a 5x5 frame!
So what you really have to look forward to this winter is more personal posts! Here's a senior I photographed at the beach last week. GORGEOUS! As usual.

Thanksgiving
Happy Black Friday! Email/Call me today (only) to buy a gift session and it will be discounted to $50.
Here's a few snapshots from Thanksgiving dinner.
Lots of tired babies
Just kidding!
Apparently Darren is pretty good a card tricks
Or at least me and Savannah were entertained
Today is also my dads birthday. His cake with lots of little finger prints.
And Crystal taught me how to play Poker.
but Riley couldn't

3 E-Sessions
I am grossly behind, not just in blogging, but...everything! It am welcoming the end of wedding and portrait season, this has definitely been my busiest year yet. I'm still taking those last minute holiday portraits, FYI, to ensure you receive any print orders by Christmas they have to be placed before December 1st! That's only TWO WEEKS away, don't procrastinate. I'll be sending out a portrait and wedding e-newsletter later this week.
I had 3 engagement session, so I am grouping them into one post! Don't even know why I'm blogging, should be working!
First I photographed Mina and Jay in Ellicott City, I'll be shooting their wedding in May!
I love this photo out of focus...mystery
Next, I photographed Julie and Matt in Annapolis. I'll be shooting their wedding in April!
I got a few funny photos of them with this!
Last, I photographed Nikki and Tom on their family farm. I'll be photographing their wedding in September!

Beautiful Beach Senior
I'm a little disappointed in the lack of comments from my Halloween post! That's the last time I ever do that, not really.
I shot this senior at the beach a couple weeks ago. Of course, she's beautiful, and lots of fun.
(I am so ready to launch www.promsessions.com but I still need a few more girls and guys to participate in trashing their dresses! If you have your prom dress, homecoming dress and maybe even a cute boyfriend you can drag along to trash as well shoot me an email, call or comment. I will probably hold a marathon trashing sessions soon if there is enough participants!)
I've been having fun with these silhouettes on the beach!

Happy Halloween!
I love love Halloween, I have more fun this time of year than the Holidays. The best is when others get into it and decorate their houses for the trick or treaters. Unfortunely it seems like no one gets in to it anymore, I don't think Riley really cares either way right now as long as she gets candy from it.
I promised a big post..
Our pumpkins
Can you guess who's is whos?
Before I begin here is Riley's Halloweens throughout the year...
2 months
1 year
2 year
3 year! This is when I said "Riley if you don't look up at me we're not going trick or treating!"
Laila's turn!
3 months...this costume is cursed!
Kayla had no problem cooperating
Savannah was afraid to get into her costume!
Me, looking alot like a psychotic pen murderer
My sister, looking alot like a super model mom
Finally! In her costume!
Happy Halloween!
