I'm a little behind on blogging, plus I have 2 photoshoots this weekend that I think will be kinda unique so keep checking back. I photographed headshots/portraits earlier this week- I'm not going to tell you how old she is because you wouldn't believe me, but she's gorgeous isn't she?

9/15/07 Wedding

I was a second photographer for a wedding this weekend at a very cool vineyard [in the middle of nowhere], for Toute Ma Vie Photography. I've been crazy busy, I have a ton (and by ton I really mean a handful :) ) of contracts in queue for 2008, so if you still want my $500 discount deal you better inquire before the end of the month when I take it down!

On a different note, I want to brag/rave about seeing Kathy Griffin at the Kennedy Center tonight- hilarious! Who else likes watching "My Life on the D List"?

I photographed Felicia, Riley & Laila's very own Aunt, for her senior portraits this week! I'm completely filled for the rest of the month, but the best shooting months are right around the corner, along with the Holidays! So exciting, and I've already been thinking about gift shopping.

While I was walking around the cake taking photos, I could smell the chocolate...and I'm on a diet, so it took every ounce of will power not to just shove one in my face right then and there.

MSW Day 2

What a crazy month it's been already! Marathon Session Weekend...first let me apologize to all of Day 2's participants for all the delays. Second, what the heck was I thinking when I gave myself 5 days to edit 8 sessions?! Maybe this was a managable task pre-July 24, 2007 when the second "gift from above" arrived, but now it's not so much. But I got it done, with a slight delay, I hope everyone loves their photos!

I've been filling up my calander very quickly with sessions this month, and I've just about reached my max, I think I have room for one more session this month on either the 19th or the 20th so book, book, book! Next month is October, my favorite shooting month, I'm anticipating lots of family's for holiday portraits- and just a tip, Art Books and Canvas Wraps make super gifts!

Sibling Love!

Sorry Day 2, no photos yet, I have to sort through my Day 1 first but hopefully I can get some previews up by tomorrow night. I had to stop working and share this photo I came across in editing, I've photographed the little girl before and I swear these kids are the most photogenic kids I've ever met! I looove the way this picture came out. I gave it that almost vintage kind of coloring- maybe I'm the only one. To me, this would be perfect as a big old canvas wrap!

MSW Day 1

Day One was a hit! A full day of kid and family sessions took all the energy out of me! Here's a preview of yesterdays sessions...
