Drown the Gown!

A few of my photos were featured on www.letsgettrashed.com- a website dedicated to featuring images of prom dress trashing. It was a couple weeks ago but you can check them out HERE. I think dress trashing is a really neat idea especially for seniors, its so different from the cheesey photos you usually get in your prom dress, and REALLY when will you ever where it again (it'll be out of style by next season!;) )




I'm so excited about this that I recently bought www.promsessions.com, it will eventually be a separate site for me, dedicated to prom dress trashing and prom day photography. If you book a 30 minute mini session on Marathon Session Weekend for trashing your prom dress, I'll throw in 2 digital files of your choice for free! Book Your Session Online

There is now an easy way to book and pay for a session online, which also means I now accept credit cards! To book an appointment for Marathon Session Weekend or just a regular Premium Sitting (which IS on sale for $299 until 9/1!), visit www.shelbyleigh.brownbookit.com.

If you want to schedule a session for Marathon Session Weekend: First, select "Marathon Session Weekend Sitting". Next, go to September 1 or 2 on the calander and pick your prefered session time from the list of available times(Marathon Session Weekend Ends at 6pm on each day!). Then enter your information and check out!



TO schedule a regular Premium Sitting: Select what kind of session you'd like to book, Premium Sitting. Then, you will choose which day you'd like to schedule your session for. I currently accept bookings on Sundays, Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays- there is only one appointment time available online which is 6-8pm, which is when I schedule sesssions for the best lighting situations. And OF COURSE I can book earlier times if needed.Finally, enter your information and checkout!

I do reccomend you email or call before booking a session online to double check the availablity of the day/time and to discuss your session! I hope this makes it more convenient for you to book and pay for your sessions!

Christmas in...August

I like to use any excuse to do something different or have a fun sale so to celebrate the birth of little Laila and me coming back to work I am having a Marathon Session Weekend on September 1&2! If you have no idea what i mean when I say that- I will be booking mini, 30 minute sessions all day long for just $50 a slot. You'll get to view your photos just days later on your own private gallery and order as little or as much as you want! All sessions are welcome, call or email to reserve a slot,the only thing is sessions must be booked at a location within 15 miles of 21401 (Annapolis), I know plenty of spots if you don't!

If you want a full session- Premium Sitting sessions will be available for $299 until 9/1/07 and can be booked for anytime!

Today Laila is 10 days old, I still havent managed to do a REAL shoot with her but I still have lots of snap shots to share.

Laila Leigh

Its a girl!

Laila Leigh Martin came July 24th at 11:08am, weighing 6 lbs. 6 oz!



We are doing a mini shoot tomorrow, hopefully I will have more photos up soon!

Riley's Day

With all my work finished up I thought it would be fun to try and document a Riley day, its alot harder to do this with your own kids. I have been too busy taking pictures for other people lately that I haven't taken any for myself, I thought it's be nice to capture Riley pre-big sisterhood!

Well this is the look she gave me when I swept the curl out of her eye, she told me "no" and put it right back.


Then mommy made lunch aka I heated up a leftover cheeseburger.




I swear I have the smartest 2 year old becasue she can work a computer like nobody's business!


Later, "Gammy" had to watch Riley's cousins so we decided to all go downtown. In this picture they were all stomping, hence why Riley is flashing me.


Kayla looks exactly like her mama here.





And to end the day we all had delicious icecream from Storm Brothers!
