Remember when I said I shot my last sessions? I lied. I photographed this beautiful senior yesterday!











Oh yeah, and we trashed her dress! :)

6/30 Wedding

9 months pregnant, Strep Throat? Apparently it takes more than that to get me to not show up at your wedding. I second photographed for another great photographer and friend, Becky Waurio of Toute Ma Vie Photography, yesterday. This was my first "seconding" experience, my job was to basic capture all the candid, detail moments.













Of course the ceremony was at a beautiful church...that allowed NO photography during the ceremony.




The only thing that was allowed was to photograph the processional and the recessional, with no flash at all. I got a lucky shot of Sally walking down the aisle with her dad.

Last Sessions

I shot two sessions yesterday! First was little Ashlyn, I don't get alot of kids, but she was the happiest baby and a dream to photograph! Her grandpa got her this session as a first birthday gift, I love that.

Then my sister and her fiance met me at the beach later that day for an engagement session! They are getting married next October and I am super excited for it!

I won't be booking anymore sessions until Septebmer. 26 days to go!

TTD Session in Annapolis!

Yesterday morning I shot my first Trash the Dress session with a real bride! I approached Kate with the idea of trashing the dress, I photographed her wedding just last month and have gotten to know her and her husband Scott pretty well. Kate is alot of fun, plus she gorgeous so I had to ask.

We decided to go to downtown Annapolis and get crazy. We started off pretty tame but by the end WE ALL were officially trashed. Scott joined in, and I ended up hip-deep in water with jeans and shoes still on. A writer from The Capital newspaper also joined us and will run a story on our session this week!

Now Kate will have these cool photos as memories, and a story she can smile about forever. In my opinion, thats a thousand times better than life in a box. :)

Beach E-Session!

Back to the beach yesterday for an engagement session, I love that part of my job is going to the beach and taking picture...barefoot. :)

My maternity leave is in ONE month, so if you need a session before September, book NOW. Weekend spots are very very limited, even if my calender says I don't have a session booked, it does not always mean the date is open! If you email me this week to schedule, I might even throw in something special! A discount, an extra print credit? I don't know! You'll have to call and ask!

Back at the Beach

I went to the beach yesterday to shoot my first session back this year! Ana was amazing- she knew exactly what she was doing in front of the camera. These are her senior-type portraits, and she brought along her prom dress, I love that!
